Crisis or Opportunity

“Every crisis is an opportunity.”

…Easy to say but not necessarily easy to see when we are neck deep in challenges. This is why letting go is a life skill that stands us in good stead no matter what is happening in our lives. Letting go helps and supports us during the good times and it helps and supports us during the most difficult times. Letting go helps and supports us during both good and difficult times by opening us up and allowing us to be receptive to either more good or to clarity, vision, understanding, insight and revelation, (we can all agree that these things are good), and creates a pathway of receptivity for solutions and gifts and miracles to come into our lives.

Challenging times are stressful. When we are under stress we contract. Contracting is the obstacle to receptivity. Contracting is often reflexive. We don’t choose to contract. And we shouldn’t feel bad that we contract. In fact we shouldn’t feel bad about any of the reactions we have to anything or anyone. A reaction is often simply reflexive. It is often simply a primitive response to something or someone and is not at all a reflection of who or what we really and truly are. We can release the contraction. We can let go inside and  open up inside so that the contraction is transmuted into delicious and flowing energy. Once we open to flow what was initially experiences as a crisis is also transmuted into an opportunity. Letting go is something we do all day long without even thinking. It is possible to intentionally let go once we know how. It does take a bit of practice but it’s easy to learn and easy to repeat whenever we like.
